I know I didn't enjoy the first shawl I knitted but I couldn't help but cast on another one, but this one is for moi!!! I don't know if thats the reason why I am enjoying it so much or it could be that I understand the pattern much more and I am flying through it. I only now need to glance at the pattern to see what Im doing and off I go :) Its growing very very quickly now. I haven't used a lifeline yet ....yikes!!!!

Looking nice..... regarding your comments about the pattern seeming easier etc.... I think you get a feel for it... is this what people call reading you r knitting I'm not sure... I found towards the end I was knitting the odd stitch, thinking that single stitch on its own shouldn't be sitting on top of that one etc.....
But it's looking nice and always feels nice when you're knitting for yourself....
I love the colour! And it's a lot easier, isn't it, when you know the pattern by heart.
But no lifelines... that's brave. Very brave!
thanks gals. I've done a bit more last night and so far its over 160 sts now and still no lifeline.....ohoohhhh dare I say anymore. Total silence and concentration in the house....sshhh be quiet is all I seem to be saying LOL
Looking good sebskins. They are very pretty colours. I found I really got into the rhythm of the pattern towards the end (it was just those central YOs I kept having to remind myself of!) I am keen to knit another one too.
